Sending a notice
Your written notice must include:
- Your physical or electronic signature (or that of the person authorised to act for the owner).
- The copyrighted work you say is infringed (or a list, if there are several).
- The material you say is infringing and where it is on this site (a link is best), in enough detail for us to find it.
- Your name, postal address, phone number and email.
- A statement that you believe in good faith the use isn't authorised by the copyright owner, its agent or the law.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the owner or authorised to act for them.
Knowingly misrepresenting that material is infringing can make you liable for damages (17 U.S.C. § 512(f)).
What we do
When we receive a complete notice we remove or disable access to the material, and tell the person who uploaded it. We terminate, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts of people who repeatedly infringe.
Counter-notice
If your material was removed and you believe it was a mistake or misidentification, send our agent a counter-notice with: your signature; the material removed and where it appeared; a statement under penalty of perjury that you believe in good faith it was removed by mistake or misidentification; your name, address and phone number; and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the U.S. federal district court for your address (or, outside the U.S., any judicial district where ASC Talent may be found), and will accept service from the person who sent the original notice.
We'll pass your counter-notice to the person who complained, and restore the material in 10–14 business days unless they tell us they've filed a court action.
